Musikerinnen aus Bands wie Östro 430, Malaria!, Mania D oder Kleenex/LiLiPUT sprechen offen über Wut, Lust, Selbstermächtigung und das Gefühl, immer wieder gegen Widerstände anzurennen. Der Film zeigt, wie Frauen sich Bühnen, Proberäume und Öffentlichkeit aneigneten und eigene Netzwerke schufen.
Ein kraftvolles Zeitdokument über künstlerische Selbstermächtigung, feministische Praxis und den Mut, laut zu sein und sich einzumischen – damals wie heute.
