The film, prefaced by this poem, is indeed a beautiful film about warmth through closeness in an otherwise unwelcoming world faced by young lesbians and other queer identities in Kutaisi, Georgia. Excluded in many ways and sometimes even threatened by violence, this is how they experience everyday life in their environment and within their families. But their family of choice helps them stand up to everything, sharing their space and time, taking care of each other and sticking together. Several of them have also formed a women’s soccer team.
The director is granted access to their safe space — rooms in which they pass long evenings smoking, drinking and talking.

Dieses Gedicht ist dem Film vorangestellt und tatsächlich ist es ein wunderschöner Film über Wärme, die sich aus Nähe ergibt, in einer sonst abweisenden Welt. Diese Welt dringt schreiend herauf zu der Gruppe junger lesbischer Frauen und anderer queerer Identitäten, in Kutaisi, Georgien. In vielen Bereichen ausgeschlossen, teilweise sogar von Gewalt bedroht, so erleben sie den Alltag in ihrem Umfeld und in ihren Familien. Dem setzen sie ihre Wahlfamilie entgegen. Sie teilen Raum und Zeit, Fürsorge und Zusammenhalt. Einige von ihnen spielen gemeinsam in einem Frauen-Fußballteam.
