Teheran
im heißen Fußball Sommer von 2005. Wie Fieber hängt
das WM-Qualifikationsspiel zwischen Iran und Bahrain über der Stadt.
Doch nur als Mann kommt frau ins Azadi Stadion. Die Sicherheitsschleuse wird
zur geschlechtspolizeilichen Falle und das Abseits zum Austragungsort einer
Rebellion. Ohne Sicht auf das Spielfeld werden die weiblichen Fans in einem
Bereich hinter dem Stadion festgehalten. Doch ihr Zusammenschluß läßt
die Herrschaft der Sittenwächter brüchig werden. Je ausgefuchster
der Widerstand der Mädchen und Frauen, desto mehr (ver)zweifeln die
sie bewachenden Soldaten an ihrer Pflicht, sie vom Spiel fernzuhalten. Spätestens
wenn das Radio während des Abtransports der Gefangenen das 1:0 für
Iran bekannt gibt und die Aufsässigen in den Glückstaumel des Verkehrs
entkommen, dann sind auch wir mittendrin in der Siegesfeier der Strasse über
das Regime.
English: Teheran in the hot football summer of 2005. The World-Cup qualifying
match between Iran and Bahrain hangs like a fever over the city. However,
a woman is only allowed into the Azadi stadium dressed as a man. The security
gate becomes a police gender trap and furthermore away from the venue of
a rebellion. Without any view of the football field, the female fans are
held in an area behind the stadium, though their fusion together causes their
guardians of public morals to vacillate.
As the resistance of the girls and
women becomes more cunning, the more the soldiers guarding them doubt and
despair of their duty to keep them away from the game. By the time the
radio reports the score of 1:0 for Iran while the prisoners are being driven
away
and the rebellious women escape in the triumphal rejoicing in the city
traffic, then we too are in the midst of victory celebrations in the streets
over
the regime.
